How to Use It with Your Sunlike Tec Heater

This sensor does not switch your heater on or off by itself. However, when paired with a compatible Wi-Fi smart plug, it can be used to create temperature-based automation scenarios.

For example, you can configure an automation to switch on the smart plug connected to your heater when the room temperature falls below 20°C, and switch it off when the temperature rises above 22°C.

With a properly configured automation, this setup can help maintain the room temperature within your preferred range.

Important: The sensor, smart plug, and mobile app must be compatible with one another for the automation to work. Your heater must also support restarting after power is restored.
